Meet Alexis Casas

A graduate in Television, Film, and New Media Production and Women’s Studies at San Diego State University, Alexis’ eager desire to manifest intersectionality across different realms of creativity prospers. Specifically amongst audiences staring upon the big screen. Alexis carries many talents in writing, directing, producing, and cinematography/photography. She seeks to divulge her passion for representing women and minorities properly and positively through her long passion for filmmaking and storytelling, explicitly both in front of and behind the camera.
As her future approaches, she has founded Unscne, a production studio whose purpose is to support herself and others in the strive for an adequate and prospective future for those who rest outside of the white patriarchal norm. Alexis remains tenacious and continues to illuminate the many shades of us, the stories that have remained silent and unjust. In moving forward, Alexis is set to begin her Master’s Degree at Georgia State University in Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies with her first film, Incongruous developing in its early stages. |
